Install a set of String Saver saddles and kiss off the string-bustin' blues! String Savers are guaranteed to dramatically reduce string breakage while providing full bodies tone and up to a 25% increase in sustain.
Metal saddles bind and lock the strings in place (like a vice). String vibration causes metal fatigue on the string resulting in string breakage. String Saver saddles are impregnated with PTFE, a permanent lubricant which allows the strings to move enough to take the stress off the one fixed breaking point. The result is...your strings last and last.
String Saver Originals are made from our patented String Saver material. String Savers give you a very balanced tone compared to regular metal saddles, nice crisp high, warm mids and a deep bass, very balanced across the spectrum. They don't have the 2 KHz spike that metal saddles have, giving the tone more balance and dimension. On first listen, some people believe that there is less top-end, but its just the 2KHz spike tamed down to let the rest of the highs and harmonics through. You will begin to hear all the added tone and harmonics that String Saver Saddles give you.
String Saver Classics are made with an extremely high quality steel saddle with our patented String Saver material inserted in the string ramp. String Saver Classics preserve the classic look of a metal saddles while freeing you from the problem of breaking strings.
"I don't have time for wussy saddles! I need string saddles that can take it! Not get caught up and heat up strings. I wouldn't think of playing "the Beast" without String Saver saddles, and you can take that to the bank!" Dick Dale - King of Surf Guitar
